GT Lime’s mission is twofold:
"Let's have a lime. Leh we get some friends together from high school ".....
In 2000 GT Lime was born, brainchild of Christopher Gomes, Mark Bannister, Terry Kersting. Starting with an ezreunion website 10 years ago to facilitate and reach out to long lost friends scattered across the globe. The rest, as they say, is history. Our membership is now 20,000 worldwide and GROWING.
GT Lime reunion weekends began and continue to take place in a different location and/or country on an annual basis. The website continues to be the driving force that keeps the diaspora and alumni in touch, far exceeding our initial expectations. We want to continue to be the center for connecting with our Guyanese roots for many years to come.
As a group, GT Lime quickly realized that the annual gatherings could be used to benefit charitable organizations in Guyana. We have provided overseas Guyanese opportunity to "give back" to the country of their birth, and in doing so the GT Lime community, over past years, has been able to contribute to St. Ann's Orphanage, St. George's Cathedral and The Ruimveldt Children's Home and Care Center.
GT Lime continues to be the place Guyanese family & friends worldwide can connect, share information, news, photos, events or just gaff & lime. Have news or events to share drop us a line.
